The assistance program consists of financially supporting a group of elderly with visual, hearing, motor and/or phonetic disabilities, who are in a state of abandonment, through the delivery of food, clothing and basic necessities such as wheelchairs and blankets. The Corporación Familia distributes the economic resources obtained to help alleviate the different needs of the elderly.

Every Sunday, prepared meals are offered to a group ranging from 45 to 70 older adults in the Atahualpa Parish within the Andean region of Ecuador. Through neighbors, food is also sent to people who, due to their physical limitations or age, have not been able to reach the town.

On many occasions, older adults are supported with medications because the public health centers do not provide them.
