Thanks to the students of the San Gabriel school and volunteers from Corporación Familia, one Sunday a month they travel to the Atahualpa region, where more than 180 deaf-mute grandparents live in a state of abandonment. 

Volunteers get involved with cleaning, feeding, emotional support and even repairing damage to the home of those most in need. During the month of December the volunteers collect and donate clothes, blankets and food.
